Our Beginning

Twenty five years ago, we, Dr. Robin and Paul Pape, founded AccuHear in 1992, after relocating our family and successful business from western New York to sunny Florida. Although motivated by warmer weather and a desire to be closer to family, there was something more. 

Our Vision

We had a vision to elevate the standard of the hearing aid industry. There had to be a better way for you to seek treatment for your hearing difficulty without salespeople being too aggressive, pushy, insincere and leaving you feeling like they were only after your money.

There were many obstacles for us to overcome this “used car salesman stereotype” before we gained the reputation of being your trusted advisors who can help you navigate your way through the complicated process and emotions of buying hearing aids. 

Instead of a using high-pressure tactics, we choose to cultivate a patient-centered environment that creates a better patient experience for you, one with your best interests in mind.  A place where you receive excellent care and we deliver on what we promise.  We want you feel welcome and taken care of.  We want to earn your trust all in the hope of creating and building a deeper lasting relationship with you and to provide you with the best level of hearing health care possible.

Since we started AccuHear, we've helped over 10,000 people hear better. It's been our pleasure to serve the Spring Hill area for more than 25 years. Our happy patients are truly our most rewarding gifts.

Much of our success, comes from our own family values and by understanding how your hearing loss impacts your family as well. Having been married for almost 40 years, we are proud and blessed that our children, twin daughters, Jamie and Jennifer, and son Chris and our daughter-in-law Brittany play integral roles at AccuHear. We are truly family owned and operated.

As a board-certified doctor of audiology, I, Dr. Pape, diagnose and identify your type and severity of hearing loss and make recommendations to you for your best hearing solution.

For over 25 years, my passion remains to provide unmatched standards in hearing healthcare. I take great pleasure in working with people, like you, who want to hear better, reconnect and enjoy life more. The only satisfaction I achieve is when I meet the expectations of my patients.  In addition to being an entrepreneur, I, with my husband Paul, have three grown children who all have integral roles in the family business.

As a board certified hearing instrument specialist with over 25 years of experience, I, Paul Pape operate our full in-house repair lab.  With my many years of experience, I am able to quickly repair your hearing aids and get you back in the conversation.  I am currently a member of the International Hearing Society and take pride in seeing that magic moment when my patient’s face lights up because they can hear again. 

My passion is in helping patients, like you, hear better and improve the quality of their lives.

I proudly served my country and am a Vietnam veteran. My wife, Dr. Pape, and I have three grown children and I actively serve in my community.

I, Chris Pape, joined the family practice nearly 10 years ago after earning my business degree from the University of North Florida.  As a board certified hearing instrument specialist, I enjoy assessing my patients’ hearing needs and successfully fitting them with the latest in hearing instrument technology.

I have a passion for staying current with state-of-the-art technology and finding its application to people with hearing loss. I continually strive to engage my patients, like you, with their hearing solution by educating them in a clearly understandable and approachable manner.  I am newly married to my wife, Brittany,  who is a much appreciated member of our AccuHear team.
